Comparison of Career Decision Difficulties Between Nursing Freshmen and Interns

Career selection is one of the most important decisions an individual makes in his life. High career expectation could result in career decision difficulties. This study aimed to compare and analyze the career decision difficulties between nursing freshmen and interns. This cross-sectional study involved 110 and 66 nursing freshmen and interns respectively (n=176) in two private nursing colleges. Career decision difficulties questionnaire was used in data collection. Descriptive statistic and independent sample t test were used in data analysis (α<.05). Results showed that most respondents experienced moderate difficulties in both groups. Overall, there was no significant difference of career decision difficulty found between groups (p=.057), but indecisiveness, dysfunctional myths, lack of knowledge about the process of career decision making, lack of information, lack of information about occupations, lack of information about ways of obtaining additional information, and internal conflicts were significantly different between groups (all p<α). Microanatomical Structure and Physical Characteristics of Thin Tail Hogget with Calpastatin (CAST-1) Genotype Differences

Thin tail sheep has good adaptation in tropics condition, but they have low meat quality. Quality of thin tail hogget can be improved by selection. Calpastatin (CAST) gene is an indigenous inhibitor of calpain that involved in regulation of protein turn over and growth. The objective of this research was to determine the effect of calpastatin-genotype on microanatomical structure and physical characteristics of thin tail hodget. Nine thin tail sheep from Jonggol were used for this research.PCR-RFLP method was carried out to identify genetic variation of calpastatin gene, based on the identificationof CAST variation genotype. It was found that MM and MN genotypes forcalpastatin gene with TT as asingle Calpain genotype variation. The sheep wasclustered based on the variation of calpastatin gene, 5 sheep hadMM genotype and 4 sheep hadMN genotype. Physical and microanatomical characteristics were analyzed from their meats. Sheep with MN genotype showed tougher meat, it was characterized with a greater of muscle fiber surface area, the number of muscle per muscle bundle and muscle bundle area and harder meat tenderness than in MM genotypes. Analysis of Twitter Utilization as the Medium of Communication among Jersey Collector Community—Reds Army LFC

Reds Army LFC is the biggest community of original collector of Liverpool FC football jerseys in Indonesia. Initially, the Reds Army LFC was founded in 2010 as a Blackberry Messenger (BBM) group, with 30 members who had met on an online forum Kaskus.us (now Kaskus.co.id) from JABODETABEK. Through the aid of social media and the Internet, especially twitter, Reds Army LFC has grown to be a national jersey collector community that has more than 5000 members, coming from different provinces of Indonesia. The utilization of twitter by Reds Army LFC is very important and attracts the interests of the Researchers. Based on this phenomena, the researcher can say that ‘Analysis of Twitter Utilization as the Medium of Communication among Jersey Collector Community—Reds Army LFC’ is the fittest title for this research. This research has used a qualitative method. Participant observation, semi-structural interview, and literature studies were used as the method of data collectivity. The result of this research shows that twitter utilization as the medium of communication in Reds Army LFC has an impact, both between the members and even to the other people who do not have any relation to this community.     Keywords: component, social media, Twitter, online communit

Pengembangan Layanan Monumen Pers Nasional Berbasis Kebutuhan Pengguna

Monumen Pers Nasional (MPN) sebagai penyelenggara layanan publik telah mengkhususkan diri dalam layanan dokumentasi dan konservasi pers nasional. Dengan mengetahui suara pengguna, MPN berusaha mengembangkan layanan yang memenuhi harapan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan pengguna layanan MPN sekaligus untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis layanan yang dibutuhkan masyarakat untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini ingin melihat suara pengguna dengan mengintegrasikan teori model Kano dengan SERVQUAL agar diperoleh hasil yang maksimal. Hasil riset memperlihatkan bahwa publik membutuhkan layanan yang bersifat tangible. Selain itu ternyata pengunjung akan sangat terpuaskan jika layanan buka hari Sabtu–Minggu dilakukan oleh MPN. Analisis Pelaksanaan Sistem E-puskesmas dengan Menggunakan Metode Pieces di Puskesmas Pemancungan Padang Tahun 2018

E-Puskesmas is an application for health services developed to provide basic services to the community. In the Pemancungan health center there are several problems in the information system, such as inaccurate information caused by the ineffective e-Puskesmas system. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the e-Puskesmas system using the PIECES method (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency & Service). The study was conducted on July 2 to August 2, 2018, the type of research was qualitative with a phenomenology approach, the informants in this study were 6 people. All informants were examined using guidelines for in-depth interviews and observations. Analysis in data processing is done by using collaizi. The results of the analysis found that the implementation of e-Puskesmas was classified as good, although in the implementation of e-Puskesmas there were still some obstacles to the network such as speedy connections that were not optimal other than the security of e-puskesmas access using shared username and password accounts and patient waiting times the old one because the network has a problem. The use of the e-Puskesmas application has been going well but there are still obstacles that interfere with the work of the officers, need to be reported and followed up periodically and should be evaluated on the e-puskesmas system in the patient data input process so that it can improve effectiveness and efficiency in service

The Readiness of English Communication Skills of Mataram Tourism Vocational College Students for ASEAN Economic Community

The purpose of this study was to find out the readiness of English communication skills of tourism students at Mataram Tourism Vocational College to enter the ASEAN Economic Community era. The scope of this study includes students from three tourism study programs, namely diploma 3 programs in hotel and hospitality, diploma 3 tours and travel and bachelor program in tourism. A total of 110 respondents were used in this study. Four English communication skills including listening, speaking, reading, and writing are measured using questionnaires as instruments for collecting data. Statistical analysis includes percentages, averages, and standard deviations. The research findings revealed that Tourism students at STP Mataram need to develop and improve their skills in English communication, especially listening and speaking which is a skill needed to communicate with foreigners, especially in NTB. From the four skills of language, STP Mataram student Language skills are not ready to communicate using English, 30% respondents answered that they have not been able or disagree from the questionnaire

Optimasi Proses Ekstraksi Pektin Dami Buah Nangka (Artocarpus Heterophyllus Lamk)

The objective of this research was to determine the optimum condition on extraction process of jackfruit rags pectin. The experiment was designed by Randomized Block Design (RBD) within 3 x 3 factorial experiment. The first factorwas pH of solvent consisted of 3 levels: 1.5, 2.5, and 3,5. The second factor was ratio of jackfruit rags to solvent, con-sisted of 3 levels: 1:5, 1:6 and 1:7. Results repealed that the solvent pH effected significantly yield, total ash, equivalentweigh and anhydrogalacturonic acid content of pectin produced. The optimum conditions for jackfruit rags pectin extraction were: the pH of extracting solvent was 1.5, and the ratio of jackfruit rags to solvent was 1:5. Those condi- tions gave the yield of 4.45 %, produced pectin having total ash (2.82 %), equivalent weigh (3,022.24 g/eqi), methoxylcontent (8.16 %), and anhydrogalacturonic acid content (88.01 %)

Analysis Of Students' Ability In Using English For Taking Order Procedure In Restaurant

The aim of this study to analyze students' English speaking skills in conducting taking orders procedure in restaurants. This study is conducted in order to overcome the problems encountered by the students in speaking activities in taking orders. To measure the ability of students in speaking English in taking orders, the researchers observed the procedures that the students did not perform and measure the students' competence of English language. Samples of this study are the fourth semester students in Hospitality courses Diploma Degree of Mataram Tourism Institute in Academic Year 2018/2019. The results of this study indicated that the level of completeness of the procedure in taking student orders in STP Mataram is in average. More than 50% students have conducted the appropriate procedure when taking orders in using English. From the result of data analysis in measuring the students' competence in speaking English, the mean score is 78.90 with standard deviation is 12.14. From the result, it is converted and get score 3.1. The score showed that the ability of English students from 40 students in STP Mataram classified as Good Criteria
